Kilian Schubert

I grew up in Germany, Russia, and Canada and began acting in feature films as a child and teenager.
After several film and theatre projects in Moscow and Berlin, my artistic focus initially shifted toward music. Today, I study orchestral conducting at the University of Music and Theatre Munich and am simultaneously returning to acting.

My work as a musician and conductor strongly influences my approach to acting: background and intention, listening, rhythm, analysis, and ensemble work are central to my process. For me, acting is not about “performing” but about developing moments together. I work in a calm, focused manner and remain open to impulses within the collaborative process.

I speak German and Russian at native level, as well as fluent English and good French. Through my international background, I feel particularly at home in multilingual and intercultural projects.
