Florin Penisoara

Florin Penișoară is a Romanian-American actor working across film, television, and theatre in both Europe and the United States. A graduate of The Actors Studio MFA program in New York, he began his career between the two continents, developing a reputation for nuanced, psychologically grounded performances.

His screen work includes roles in major international productions for Netflix, Peacock, CBS, Amazon, NBC, and FX, alongside European and Romanian projects, where he is frequently cast in intense, high-stakes dramatic worlds. His films have screened at Cannes, Toronto, Berlin, Vienna, and Cluj-Napoca, reflecting a career rooted in both art-house and mainstream storytelling.

On stage, Florin has performed in productions associated with The Public Theater in New York, working with filmmakers and directors whose work has received distinctions including the Silver Bear, Un Certain Regard, and FIPRESCI.
